• Social energy ratings
• Sensory experience ratings
• Masking level ratings
• Routine change ratings
• Special interest time ratings
• Optional notes you add

• Export preferences

How Your Data is Protected

All data in Unmasking Daily is:

• Stored locally: Using secure SQLite database on your device
• Never transmitted: No internet connection required or used for data
• Encrypted by your device: Protected by your device's security features
• Isolated: Accessible only within the app on your device

Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not share your data with anyone because we never have access to it. The only time your data leaves your device is when YOU choose to export it using the app's export features.

When You Export Data

You can export your data as:

• CSV files for spreadsheet analysis
• Text reports for healthcare providers
• JSON backups for your records

When you export, you control where the file goes (email, cloud storage, etc.). We recommend using secure methods when sharing with healthcare providers.

Permissions We Request

Unmasking Daily only requests permissions necessary for core features:

Notification Permission (Optional)

• Purpose: To send you daily check-in reminders
• When requested: Only when you enable reminders in settings
• What we do: Send local notifications at your chosen time
• What we don't do: No push notifications from servers

Children's Privacy

Unmasking Daily is designed for adults (18+) exploring autism and self-discovery. We do not knowingly collect or store information from anyone under 18. Since all data is local and we don't collect any information, we cannot verify users' ages.

Your Rights and Control

You have complete control over your data:

• Access: View all your data anytime in the app
• Export: Download your data in multiple formats
• Delete: Remove individual check-ins or all data
• Reset: Complete app reset removes everything

Data Retention

Your data remains on your device until you:

• Manually delete specific entries
• Use the "Reset All Data" feature
• Uninstall the app

Uninstalling Unmasking Daily completely removes all stored data from your device.

Security Considerations

While we've designed Unmasking Daily with privacy in mind, your device's security is important:

• Use a secure lock screen on your device
• Keep your device's operating system updated
• Be cautious when exporting data to shared locations
• Use secure methods when sharing reports with healthcare providers

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the app or legal requirements. Any changes will be noted with an updated "Last Updated" date. Since we don't collect your information, we cannot notify you directly of changes, so please review this policy periodically.

Open Source Transparency

We believe in transparency. While Unmasking Daily's code is not currently open source, we're committed to clear communication about how the app works and how your data is handled.
